This study

This study, some relevant terms related to the study topic are used. These are:
Solid waste:-the unwanted or useless solid materials generated from combined residential, industrial and commercial activities in a given area.
Solid Waste Management: “The collection, transportation, storage, recycling, or disposal, of solid waste, or the subsequent use of disposal site that is no longer operational” (Solid Waste Management Protection No. 513/2007).
Integrated Solid Waste Management: is the process of solid waste management that incorporates generation, segregation, transfer, sorting, treatment, recovery and disposal in an integrated manner, with an emphasis on maximizing resource use efficiency (Wilson, 2013)
Municipal solid waste management (MSWM) all solid waste generated in an area except industrial and agricultural wastes. Sometimes includes construction and demolition debris another special wastes that may enter the municipal waste stream (ANRs Environmental protection, 2007)
Challenge: is an obstacle, impediment, difficulty that invites resolution; the situation of being faced with something that needs great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person’s ability (Mulugeta, 2015).
Garbage: – in everyday usage, refuse in general. Some MSWM manuals use garbage to mean “food wastes,” although this usage is not common (ANRs Environmental protection, 2007).
Landfill: the final disposal of solid waste by placing it in a controlled fashion in a place intended to be permanent. The Source Book uses this term for both controlled dumps and sanitary landfills (ANRs Environmental protection, 2007).
