Taylor Swift- Don’t Blame Me
I like this song because first of all the artist, I love Taylor Swift, and she had to be the one from my favorite song, second of all the lyrics, and third of all, the song’s tempo.
This is a rock/pop genre and it mostly talks about romance and breaking rules. The lyrics is something not so Taylor because now that she has changed, she revealed that dark side of hers, but it’s cool, because although we new her other voice, we were waiting for something more.About the lyrics, of “Don’t Blame Me,” Taylor Swift keeps her strong anti-media, anti-player-boyfriend themes, but she introduces a new one: drug use. She first gives claims that only love that makes her “crazy” is “doin’ it right” and claims that this craziness-inspiring is to excuse her own actions. For her, her “drug is my baby” he’s the one she needs to be happy or to not go totally crazy.
Her voice sounds thin, breathy, shiny, and bright. There are instruments such as the piano, the drums…
The rhythm is something flowless like, and with a constant chorus backing her up. The type of tempo (if I can say that?) is an allargato because slows down and grows louder.
