Many people rely on stereotypes when speaking about mental disorders

Many people rely on stereotypes when speaking about mental disorders. They often do not rely on facts for their information, which can in turn create a stigma. It is urgent to state facts in order to not misunderstand about those afflicted with a mental illness. Most of the time, these emotions are not as quick or sudden as some people think. A person diagnosed with bipolar disorder may be stuck in a manic or depressive phase for a while before switching moods. After all, do not neurotypicals change mood? It unfortunately can not be cured but some treatments are available. It usually doesn’t affect young children. I believe this disorder is very easy to misdiagnose.
